Have you ever decided to go on a road trip on a whim and had pretty much everything go wrong? I have and so has the Heffley family. Greg’s summer break is starting and he’s looking forward to playing video games indoors but his mother has a different idea. An idea for the whole family to go on a road trip and do things spontaneously. After a bit of reluctance, they head out and starting from what should they be taking with them on the trip to accommodation to sightseeing and whatever else you can do on a road trip goes wrong.
I have not laughed so hard reading a book in a longtime as this. This was a laugh-riot. I pitied the Heffley family but also couldn’t stop laughing and having tears in my eyes. There were some things that I could personally relate to. The best read in the series.
